Burris on Rejection

This illustration was done by the amazing, talented, super duper cool, Priscilla Burris.
I was lucky enough to hear Ms. Burris speak at an SCBWI
conference a couple of years ago. She was absolutely wonderful.
I have been following her ever since.
(She wrote that that Otto is holding his rejection letters.
See, we all get them.)
Her blog can be found here.
Check her out. You won't regret it.
If you are ever in need of a pick-me-up, just look to her.

  5. Priscilla IS the best to go-to for a 'pick me up'...her blog and site are full of wonderful 'moments' with a positive bend....and adorable characters. I've repped her for a very pleasurable 'long time' and feel blessed to be honest. And yes...her books are special! check out the HEIDI HECKLEBECK series...and several picture books are coming out this year and next you will JUST LOVE. Here's to a very special person and talent!
